The deal that Johnson has agreed with the EU is worse than May’s. It offers no real guarantees on worker’s rights, environmental protection and animal welfare as these have been removed from the legally-binding Withdrawal Agreement. Around 8,000 Stroud jobs are at risk if we leave a customs union, and I am not prepared to risk the livelihoods of people in the constituency without thorough debate and consideration.
