Can we help? David's casework team is coming to you

Caseworkers help people with all kinds of difficulties including relating to the Home Office, Revenue and Customs, and the Department of Work and Pensions.

“The scope of the casework always amazes me. Housing problems and benefits make up a large part, but it can also include dealing with complex immigration cases, environmental problems and mental-health services,” said David

People can ‘drop-in’ to discuss concerns and caseworkers can offer advice on-the-spot, or discuss ways to find solutions. Laurie Davies, senior caseworker said;

“Often casework involves helping people who are vulnerable or at a crisis point in their lives.

“We see some of the real difficulties that increasing numbers of people face and it can be heart-breaking at times.

“We can’t promise to provide easy solutions but there have been many times when we’ve managed to make a difference.”

Over the next three months, our caseworkers will be at the following venues

  • 7th February Whiteshill and Ruscombe Community Shop - Mobile Caseworker Surgery at 13:30 ·

  • Thursday, 21st February King's Stanley Village Hall - Mobile Caseworker Surgery at 13:30 ·

  • Thursday, 7th March Mortimer Room, Nailsworth Town Council - Mobile Caseworker Surgery at 13:30.
